Stephanie Huffman, Student Intern
Welcome to Heart of Mind Therapy, where your journey is honored, and your truth is embraced. My name is Stephanie Huffman, and as a Marriage and Family Therapist Student-Intern, I am here to support you, no matter where you are on your path. I believe in creating a space where you feel both supported and empowered, knowing that whatever you bring into our therapy space, we will face it together.
I am passionate about providing a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ friendly, gender-affirming, and sex-positive environment. My approach is rooted in meeting you where you are in life and walking beside you, ensuring that you feel heard and valued. I deeply believe that you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to listen to your story, helping you uncover the truths that matter most to you.
There is no topic too big or too small for therapy. Whether you're seeking new coping skills or need support with something heavy you're carrying, we will navigate life's challenges together in a safe, judgment-free environment.
I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University. I am a supervised student, operating under the guidance and license of Kietha Adams, MS, LMFT, ABS.
It is my privilege to walk alongside you on this journey, offering the compassion, understanding, and support you deserve. Together, we will work towards creating a life that feels true to you.
